A limited series of Rorschach cards made with donated human blood (SARS-CoV-2-vaccinated and unvaccinated)
IN ANXIETY WE TRUST
We are hardwired to seek patterns; to search for comfort and understanding in the tried and trusted. In times of uncertainty and crises, we attempt to regain control by projecting our desired order onto the chaos. In effect, manufacturing our own reality as an antidote.
Today, our perception is continuously influenced and warped. The volume of information, misinformation and disinformation we are exposed to is paralyzing. It has become all but impossible to make informed, rational decisions.
When we’re unable to rely on our decision making, we become anxious. And while anxiety has been helpful in human evolution, we are not designed to operate under perpetual uncertainty.
Many of us abandon critical thinking for the comfort of a protective unreality. As a result, it becomes our only reality. We no longer accept other viewpoints, and simply believe what we think we see.
It raises the question: is what we see actually what we believe? Are we willing to accept the consequences of our own self-imposed ignorance? Or will we choose to live with the anxiety of constant crisis?

The COLLECTION
The collection consists of a series of Rorschach cards made with donated human blood (SARS-CoV-2-vaccinated and unvaccinated) and are available as art prints
This project is an invitation to explore how our personalities influence our perception. A way to assess our critical thinking, uncover our presumptions and expose how much the ideas of others influence how we see the world.
The use of human blood may influence responses, indicating how we manage feelings of constant anxiety, anger and fear.
*Blood color may slightly vary due to oxidation and photographic lighting
